Questions owners ask us
How much does HostSavvy charge?
A 10% commission. We'll walk you through exactly how it's calculated during your free rental assessment.
Which areas do you cover?
Toronto and the GTA, including Durham Region (for example Whitby). If you're not sure we cover your area, just call.
My property isn't my principal residence. Can you still help?
Yes. Nightly rentals aren't allowed in Toronto for investment properties, but furnished mid-term rentals of 28+ nights are a strong option, and we manage those too.
I rent my home. Can I still host?
The City lets tenants register, but your lease may not allow it. Check with your landlord first. We can work with you once you have permission.
I live in a condo. Is that allowed?
It depends on your condo's rules, which can limit or ban short stays. We'll look at this with you during the assessment.
I already have an Airbnb listing. Can you take it over?
Yes. We can join as a co-host on your existing listing, so you keep your reviews and booking history.
Can I still use my property myself?
Yes. Block off the dates you want and we'll work around them.
